A Holiday Report - Diamantina - MG

I went to Diamantina last January with my Husband. We drove to Diamantina by car.

We stayed for a week in a small inn, near the city center. The inn was nice and quite cheap.

During the day we walked around the city. We saw all the famous places like Chica da Silva's House and Diamond Museum, and we visited a small district near Diamantina, Biribiri. There are beautiful waterfalls. We took a lot of photos.

At night we went to restaurants and had Mineira's food. We bought small gifts for all the family.

We had a great time. Diamantina is full of history and the waterfalls near the city are wonderful. We only had a problem: it was very dificult to walk in the streets because of the very irregular floor.

    Diamantina is a beautiful city. I like the story of Chica da Silva.

    Tip Desk ... worth going to at the time of Diamantina Vesperata!
    In October the Vesperata happens on days 20 and 27 and is a wonderful event!
