A Holiday Report - Monte Azul, MG

I went to Monte Azul Town, in the north of Minas Gerais State, last July, with my wife. We went to Monte Azul, by bus,  the trip took ten hours.

Monte Azul

We stayed for a week in the house of my wife's grandmother, free hosting!

During the day we walked aroundo the town. We visited the Municipal Market and other touristic places. We met a lot of friends of my wife's father because he was born and lived there. We took a lot of photos. At night we went to relative's houses, we had barbecue and beer and we played "Truco"!! We bought tipical products of the region, cheese and biscuits for all the family.

Municipal Market

We had a great time! Monte Azul is a cozy town and the people are very funny. We only had one problem: the weather was very hot and dry because it didn't rain for four months...
